PBT (polybutylene terephthalate)
Features: extremely high dimensional stability, high thermal stability, excellent sliding ability, good machinability, low expansion rate, excellent electrical insulation. High mechanical strength/hardness and rigidity, acid resistance, easy welding and gluing, wear resistance.
Disadvantages: poor dielectric properties, hydrolysis, sensitive to ultraviolet rays, brittle for long-term outdoor use, not resistant to strong acid/alkaline solvents and oxidants, not resistant to notch impact.
