Description
POM is a smooth, shiny hard and dense material, light yellow or white, and can be used for a long time in the temperature range of -40-100°C. Its wear resistance and self-lubrication are also superior to most engineering plastics, and it has good oil resistance and peroxide resistance. It is not resistant to acid, strong alkali and moonlight ultraviolet radiation. POM is a crystalline plastic with a clear melting point. Once the melting point is reached, the melt viscosity drops rapidly. When the temperature exceeds a certain limit or the melt is heated for too long, it will cause decomposition. POM has good comprehensive properties, is the hardest in thermoplastics, and is one of the varieties with the mechanical properties closest to metal in plastic materials. Its tensile strength, bending strength, fatigue resistance, wear resistance and electrical properties are all excellent. It is very good and can be used for a long time between -40 degrees and 100 degrees.
